Hmmm... Must Be Monday...

Aiden had a bloody nose last night that got everywhere.  I had to take Jaylee back to the doctor, she isn't a bit better.  And Snowmageddon has begun.  Gotta love Mondays!

S'mores?

Last week when snuggling with Aiden before bed, he had somehow smuggled in some marshmallows. I thought I had them all cleaned up after he went to sleep, but I must have missed one...I woke up to a sticky melted marshmallow underneath me.  All I was missing was some graham cracker and chocolate and I could have had a yummy snack

Double Ear Infection

Miss Jaylee has her first ear infection.  I hate seeing her feel sick, poor sweetie pie.  Hopefully we caught it early, and the meds work quickly!

9 Months

Jaylee turned 9 months on Wednesday!

On an unexpected trip to the doctor yesterday, she weighed in at 16lbs 8oz.  I looked back, and Aiden was 18lbs at 6 months!
Not only has Jaylee been pulling herself up, she pushes her doll in a stroller, and sometimes she gets really brave and will stand at the coffee table with no hands.  It won't be too long before she starts walking!

My Crafty Weekend

After my trial run on Friday night, I learned that fabric stiffener makes the ribbon way to stiff.  So Saturday we baked the ribbon plain and it was perfect!  Putting it together was another story...the Korker Bows are definitely a two person project, but they are too cute!

Next, I decided to try a Boutique Bow.  These were so easy!  My mom and I got a good deal on some ribbon this weekend, so it was fun to play around with the colors.

Ever since my niece Hannah was a baby, I have absolutely loved the big flower on a headband look.  Jaylee has lots of different colors already, but I was determined to make her a few new colors.  I examined her old ones, and figured out what I needed to do.  These were so easy!  Now I just need to find some new colors!

While working on these today, I showed my niece Hannah our new creations.  My mom and dad are going to Italy in February, so I promised to make her some! I think it was a successful weekend of crafting!

Getting Crafty

Tonight my mom and I decided to try and make "korker bows". We bought the supplies, and began baking the ribbon after we wrapped it around 1/4 wooden dowels. Tomorrow we will put it all together...I hope it turns out!

Garbage Trucks

As stated before, Aiden loves garbage trucks!  Here is his fleet:

The Munchkins and Me

I am attempting to blog about the adventures that I have with my two munchkins!  I am not sure if this is to keep family and friends informed, or to just have a record of all the memories that we make.

Me
I'm a mom and middle school teacher.  I am blessed with two amazing children.  I keep very busy working, taking classes to get my master's degree in education, and living life to the fullest.

The Munchkins
I have a son, Aiden, who is three years old.  He loves his dogs (stuffed of course), garbage trucks, and his sis. My daughter, Jaylee, is 9 months old.  Her favorite activities are crawling up stairs, eating yogurt melts, and smiling at her brother.
