Mom VS Pink Lemonade

Yesterday after church Aiden wanted to eat lunch at Culvers.  After ordering and getting our drinks we sat down.  I was in the process of putting lids on the kids' drinks when Aiden's pink lemonade spilled...all over my lap.  I was wet, sticky, and cold. Luckily, I was wearing black pants so it didn't look TOO bad...  As soon as we got home I changed and showered because I was SOOOO sticky!

That night, Aiden wanted a snack before bed.  We had made a pitcher of pink lemonade the day before, and of course that was what he wanted.  I quickly put it in a cup and put a lid on it right away!  After handing him the cup, I went to put the glass pitcher back in the fridge.  I reached for it and it slipped through my hands and shattered into thousands of pieces on the floor...along with a pool of sticky pink lemonade.  Pink Lemonade won that day!

Mmmm... Cupcakes!

Jaylee's birthday was Tuesday!  Aiden woke up at 5:30AM asking, "Is it Tuesday?  Is it Tuesday? Is it Jaylee's birthday?!"  He was very excited to wake her up and sing to her!  That evening we had a few friends over for cupcakes.  Jaylee had a very big day, and she was such a cutie pie!

Sneaky Girl!

After dinner, Aiden decided to have a Dilly Bar for his dessert.  Well he left it on the table right in front of Jaylee, and she decided it looked pretty good!  He didn't get it back :)

One handed meals?

Forget the 30 minute meals that I've seen on TV, that is WAY too long for a single mom of a three year old, and a soon to be one year old.  I love cooking, I just do't have the time.  I need fifteen minute meals that I can do with one hand when the other is occupied getting things for the three year old while holding the one year old.  Oh yeah, they also need to be healthy... If you have any ideas, please post it in the comment section.
